I suppose as far as spiders go he'll do. I know Doris and I found one on her plants and it was a tiny pure white one. But still . . . Eeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwww Glad to have you back and love that Daylily.
This is a crab spider, and yes... I just saw one yesterday! They're small and very CUTE! :-) I love that you took such a close-up photo! Have a great day.
I'm new to your blog. You have a beautiful garden! The spider is interesting, I've never seen anything like that! Great photography. Have a great weekend! :)
Hi ALL! Thanks for your visits and comments! FUN to know others have spotted this interesting spider so, yes, it is real! Wendy, it's a crab spider and the spots that you think are eyes are actually not it! And look closely, there are even markings that 'look' like teeth! Strange but beautiful...me thinks!
No, I don't thing I have ever seen a yellow spider before, and that one is actually kind of cute! Sorry about the previous napkin curtain comment, it was meant for someone else! LOL
Okay! Now that's just plain freaky!!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear from you again!
ReplyDeleteI like spiders! We had some black and yellow around!
Lovely blog, but ew! Such an ugly spider! He does have a rather kind face though. Very interesting!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree... it's so cool and so rare. I've never seen a yellow spider!
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen you blog much lately, Lynn.
My daughter says this spider is cute! I guess it does have a certain charm.
ReplyDeleteAs long as it's eating pests off the plants, I will put up with it.
Good Macro shot!
