Pretty much the same subjects in bloom from my last post but on a SUNNY day, the colors just pop!
Back lit by sunshine, this hellebore just glows!
Crocuses still blooming strong...the yellow variety is half the size of the purple.
A beautiful day sure makes this gardener jump for joy!
Gorgeous Lynn! Looks like a beautiful day. The sun is shining brightly here this morning, but it's deceiving with the temperature a chilly 29 degrees. Springtime is slow making its way to Chicago this year!
ReplyDeleteLove the hellebore with the sunlight illuminating it!
ReplyDeleteThe sight of blossoms against a deep blue sky always makes me feel happy!
Isn't it amazing to see how much prettier everything looks with the blue sky behind it? The forsythia looks beautiful with the sun shining on it.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm so glad to see things popping in your garden! I love the Hellebore- everyone's got them. It is on my list, but not until we move- I think! Enjoy the sun!
ReplyDeleteIt is good to see the sun while it lasts. Thanks for the name of the "Oregon Holly" I looked it up and see it grows in shade so it is going on my list. Poor list gets longer all the time :), but it will do good in my woodland bed area.It has berries also so the birds will like it.Wish my hellebore would bloom. Your is so pretty.

The purple and gold crocuses look great with the little shafts of sunlight on them. The flowering shrubs by the arbour add a jolt of spring colour, and yes, sky blue is the perfect background for forsythia blooms.
ReplyDeleteThe bright blue sky really does make the blossoms extra pretty, doesn't it?
