Hi and thanks you all! This is actually an exbury azalea variety called "Golden Flare". The buds start out as deep orange then the blooms fade to a paler orangy-yellow. She is a very slow grower though..only 4ft. after 6 yrs.
I'm glad you enjoyed my To Tell the Truth post, but I think you are the only one! LOL Pretty lilies, my Dizzy lilies will be here soon. I just planted them, so I've never seen them. But when I saw they were fragrant, I just wanted to try them.
Hi Lynn, thankfully you did not miss these beautiful lilies. TQ for taking time to post their pictures. I like the colours... very nice! Btw, regarding crape myrtle, I saw the purple and red ones today... updated my post with two new photos. Purple colour panicles are so attractive. Now I know why you have chosen this colour :-)
Awesome lilies with those blue forget me nots! I am wordless indeed!
ReplyDeleteO-La-La! as one of our garden guru says.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love lilies - especially this color. -Jackie
ReplyDeleteThat's a great show of blooms you have.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is one standout in color of your lilies. So pretty.

ReplyDeleteLovely, Lynn! Our lilies haven't started blooming yet; one of my peonies just opened today! I love the forget me nots in the background.

ReplyDeleteYour lilies really pop Lynn. Beautiful! I'm trying to get around and visit but it's almost impossible with gardening. How does everyone do it? ;-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous lillies! I love the two-toned effect on their petals. ;)
