Rain, Rain, DON'T Go Away....

I'm happy waking up knowing the garden has been watered. Yippee! One chore I can cross off my list today! Heading out in bathrobe and slippers..(of course, camera too!), let's see how things are looking. Even on a dark day, these blooms are quite bright!
Especially white blooms..they almost glow!

Gooseneck loosestrife...one of those love/hate plants for me! I swear half of the compost bin is filled with it! Pretty in bloom right now though...

Okay, what was I thinking, slippers are soaked! Good day to get back into bed....even the view off my bedroom bay is inducing sleep...*yawn*It's still early, but fingers are crossed for one of those days where I can say...oops, can't go out..too wet! So rain, rain, please come back and stay a while. Hope you're having an off day from yard work, too!

  4. Your garden is so bright and lush! I wish mine were looking that way. As much as I love having such a sunny summer, the plants just don't look as lush as usual. I like having a few rainy days in the summer so I don't feel like I should do garden work. I feel guilty staying inside. Enjoy your nice day inside :)

  7. Do you believe it? I am having rainy days here too. I welcome the rain especially when I need to travel. When rain is predicted, I don't worry about my plants. BYW, the view from your windor is breathtaking.

You have a "legal" reason to stay inside!

  12. You have a bodacious border!! Love it. All those wonderful colors and textures. Looked at your last post too. Wonderful daylilies. Mine have fizzled for the year, except Pardon Me, which is new. It has a few buds.

  13. Your blooms will definitely shine even when there is no sunlight! They are all beauties. I like your white fence... make your garden look so pretty. Btw, I usually do weeding and repotting after the rain as soil is softer ;-)

Thanks, Steph..yep, the white fence is probably in TOO many photos..glad you like it!

Hi Darla, most of the windows look out to gardens...big pressure to keep it nice..weed free, etc..otherwise drapes are drawn! Bunnie slippers warm and cozy again this morning ;)

  20. Hi Lynn! I already told you what beautiful garden you have and how I like it. Well, I am telling this again: beautiful, inviting, cozy and lovely! Thank you for leaving a comment on my fish post! I still can't believe that I got so lucky: there were many boats on the river, but we saw only two king salmons being caught in 5 hours. I can't stop smiling ... Thanks again and happy gardening to you!
