Hi! You can all guess the theme of today's post. Not many true blue flowers out there so shades of purple will have to do...And not that I purposely plant flowers for this combination, it's amazing how many areas popped up with it when I went looking. What's the saying...."Seek and you shall find"! Yes, my fence plays a major role, but hey, it works!
'Scarlet Orbit' daylily...nonstop blooms for a solid month.
Happy 4th Lynn! Lovely red, white and blue bloo--ms. We have the same blue glass trellis bird!
ReplyDeleteI love the red, white and blue you found! I found some here too, and it also wasn't planned. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteOh Lynn, you have the most beautiful garden ever! I can't believe how much you have growing and how your yard must look in person;-) You are fortunate to have so many sunny areas to be able to spread these sun-loving perennials around! Happy 4th to you, too!

ReplyDeleteHello my wonderful gardening pals! Hope you all had an excellent weekend with fireworks included. We were lucky to enjoy them right off our deck and I tried taking photos but nothing worth keeping. Weather wise, it was perfect here in nj. I spent all day sunday weed whacking and working off the BBQ overload! It was great to hear from you all...thank you!

Excellent Lynn, and using the sky and fence definitely was brilliant! Lucifer is just too wonderful, isn't he? Those red flowers are not shy and give plenty of spark wherever they are planted. I envy your delphs too, we are just too hot for them here, so I will enjoy yours.

Everything in your garden is AMAZING! The colors are spectacular! WOW!!! I hope this rain will spiff my plants up! They are probably all singing right now, so happy to get some rain
ReplyDeleteI just love all your red, white and blues! And they certainly don't give me the blues, that's for sure. I'm so jealous of your delphiniums, mine are tiny still. There's always next year.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job finding reds, whites, and blues. Another fun, creative post!
